CON-01 — Non-standard section heading
Short answer
CON-01 checks section headings against the heading vocabulary ATS engines are trained on. Experience placed under a creative heading such as "My Journey" lands in an "other" field instead of the experience field, so the system shows you with zero years of experience.
Unrecognised
- “My Journey”
- “What I Can Do”
Recognised
- Experience
- Skills

What it checks
- Detected headings matched against the bilingual heading dictionary
- Number of unrecognised headings and how much content sits under them
- Whether experience, education and skills sections actually open
Why it matters
An ATS classifies sections with a trained heading list. Anything under an unknown heading is filed as "other", so you fail experience filters despite having the experience.
How to fix it
Use standard headings: Experience, Education, Skills, Projects, Certifications. Show creativity in the bullets, not the headings.
Frequently asked questions
Do creative headings really hurt?
Yes. A heading is a routing label for the parser, not a design element.
